Payton came to Farmers Bank with three years’ experience in Real Estate Lending from a local bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Payton was born in Spencer, IA but grew up in Calumet, IA. When he was younger, he would work at his family’s tomato farm, Calumet Farms Hydroponic Tomatoes. He attended the University of South Dakota. Prior to joining Farmers Trust & Savings Bank, he worked at a bank in South Dakota. In his spare time, you can find him on the golf course, walking with his dogs, or floating around the local lakes trying to catch some fish.
