Farmers Trust and Savings Bank is pleased to announce that John Huseman has joined the bank as its new IT Network Administrator. In this role, John will be part of a team that is responsible for overseeing the bank’s information technology infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient network operations, and supporting the bank’s staff to continue their focus on providing the best service to customers.
“With his experience and expertise in cyber security and systems administration, John is a great fit for this position.” commented Vice President of IT, Jared Gerlock.
Huseman brings over 15 years of experience in IT and network administration, and most recently serving as a network administrator at a local MSP. He has extensive experience in information security and system administration and looks forward to contributing to the bank’s mission.
Huseman commented, “I have loved using my skillset in the financial sector in the past. I was very excited when I saw a position available at Farmers Trust and Savings Bank; I especially like their commitment to do volunteer work and helping the community, as that is very important to me too.”
Huseman is a native of Spirit Lake, Iowa and currently resides in Okoboji. He attended college in Ames with a focus on computer science and astronomy. In his off time, he loves spending time with his cats and his family and has a passion for music.
