Welcome to Our New Website!

Welcome to Our New Website!

We are excited to introduce you to our new and improved website! At Farmers Bank, we're always looking for new ways to meet the needs of our customers, making banking easier and more convenient.

We've also been developing more and better ways for you to bank online and with your mobile device. Our latest step forward has been to rebuild our website. In July, we will introduce a whole new Farmerstrust.bank. Designed from the ground up and focused on our customers, our new website is an updated digital experience for all of your banking needs. Below are a few of the new features you can expect when the site goes live:

Everything you care about, right at your fingertips

We've redesigned our website from the ground up to be more intuitive and easier to use, helping you find everything you need. The entire web experience is streamlined so that everything you need is just a click or tap away. The intuitive, modern design makes it easy to find what you're looking for—whether you're logging in to online banking or looking to add a new savings, checking account or a loan.

Mobile-friendly design, with a modern look and feel

The new Farmerstrust.bank has been purposely designed with mobile devices in mind, so you'll get the full online banking experience whether you're at home or on the go. Everything on our site works seamlessly and looks great on your smartphone, your tablet, or your desktop. No matter where you are, you'll always have access to the information you need.

Educational content to help you reach your financial goals

Soon you can browse through our new site, and you'll find helpful, inspiring content, including financial education articles and community stories, to help you learn how to reach your goals and set you on the path to achieving your next financial milestone. Whether you want to learn more about how to apply for the right mortgage or meet some of Farmers Bank staff, you will be able to find it all on Farmerstrust.bank.

Why .bank?

What makes .BANK different?

.BANK is a trusted, verified, more secure domain for financial institutions, including Farmers Bank. The .BANK domain, is exclusively for banks, it prevents lookalike domains making it easy for anyone to immediately identify bank emails and websites versus phishing and spoofing attacks. The .BANK “Stamp of Trust” creates verified online and email platforms that are prepared for digital banking products and services, and where customers share additional personal and/or financial information.

To acquire a .BANK domain, we had to submit various applications and forms of identification to prove we were a legitimate bank; .BANK domains are ONLY given to verified members of the banking industry (anyone can acquire a .COM).  To maintain a .BANK domain, we are also required to meet robust security practices and technologies.

How does .BANK affect me?

We migrated to .BANK for our customers!  Not only is our online security more robust than ever, a .BANK domain also greatly reduces the chances of our website being spoofed.  Spoofed websites commonly imitate the sites of banks, and other official businesses, in order to fraudulently collect sensitive information from users.  Commonly, a spoofed website will replicate logos, text, and design elements to trick people into thinking it's the trusted site; users may not recognize the difference and could, essentially, hand their data over to fraudsters.

Since all .BANK domains must be verified by regulatory agencies, it makes it nearly impossible for fraudsters to register a .BANK to trick users.  .COM's, however, can be acquired by anyone at any time; there is NO regulation over these domains.
