  2. Use anti-virus and anti-malware.
  3. Invest in security upgrades.
  4. Enable two-factor authentication.
  5. Do not open suspicious emails.
  6. Use a secure file-sharing service to encrypt data.
  7. Use a VPN to privatize and encrypt your connections.
  8. Back up important data.
  9. Don’t store important information non securely.
  10. Train staff to work and think securely – use strong passwords, click cautiously by checking links before clicking, disable Bluetooth when not needed to name a few best practices.

Having a strong security policy in place for your business is key to your growth and your peace of mind. Proper and timely communication is important if ever questioning a cyber attack.
